About
Prof Puan Sri Dr Rohaty Mohd Majzub is a Professor in Early Childhood Education at the Faculty of Education Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She graduated from University of Michigan Ann Arbor in 1984 and has since taught Early Childhood Education courses at the postgraduate level. She is a consultant to the Ministry of Education Malaysia in curriculum development. She also embarked upon several researches related to the quality of preschool education and assessments of young children.Currently she is supervising post graduate students in both Early Childhood Education and Educational Psychology.Her latest passion is her Website http://rohaty-school-readiness.com which deals with childrens' readiness to school. She has been keynote speakers both locally and abroad. Her present research interests include School Drop Out Prevention and Boys Underachievement.She is also noted as a motivator in the mass media in Malaysia being invited to talk on several topics on child development and human development.Her networking experiences included with Worcester University College UK via the British Council CICHE program, JLICED University of Melbourne on Child Ethnicity and Teachers College Columbia on Preschool Education and several Middle East and Indonesian Universities.Prof Rohaty Majzub has written several books on Preschool Education and Psychology. Researches conducted included symptoms of dyslexic children, quality evaluation for preschools, integration of special needs children, national integration in Malaysia, Malaysian Inventory on School Readiness and personality characteristics of entrepreneurs.
